Naomi Lisowski (née Benecasa), cellist, earned her Bachelor’s of Music Performance in 2015 from Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music under cellist Desmond Hoebig. She went on to study music cognition under Mihailo Antović at the University of Niš, Serbia, then completed her Master of Arts in Music Psychology through England’s University of Sheffield in 2020. A lifelong soloist and chamber musician, she enjoys performing throughout the Hudson Valley and currently serves as principal cellist of the Greater Newburgh Symphony Orchestra.
